When I started this blog, I was in my mid 20’s, and decided to make my blog all about crochet. I am now nearing 30 and a lot has changed. My two goldens, Zoey and Izzy, have crossed the rainbow bridge. I now have two new furry beans hogging my bed and stealing my food. Dogs are my first love, followed by evenings on the lake, and helping other crafters grow their business.
I still love crochet and design patterns from time to time, but I have expanded my crafts far beyond yarn now. I have dabbled in vinyl, do various forms of sublimation, and my latest craft has been my laser cutter. I plan to start sharing more about my crafty adventures outside of yarn on the blog for those of you that are interested. I know I can’t stay focused on a single craft for too long without wondering what next!
Why did I start a blog?
I started a blog because when I picked up this wonderful hobby again I felt lost. I would watch videos where they would say, “and now weave in the ends and ill start back again on the next row”, and I was sitting there yelling at the video “But I don’t know how to weave in the ends! Show me!”. That is where the idea of a blog came in. I knew I couldn’t be the only beginner running into these issues. After learning how simple weaving in ends is, it seems silly, but at the time it was overwhelming. I plan on posting things for beginners as well as more intermediate projects and posts. I will break down all the “silly” things that most people gloss over or forget about completely, and give you some projects to work towards!
