The Sasha Crochet Bralette Pattern has been something I have been wanting to design for so long. If you want to know why I call it the Sasha Bralette, check out the end of the post 😉 I cannot wait to wear it. Specifically to the Faster Horses Music Festival that ya’ll know I love attending! It is so comfortable to wear and will be breathable for those long hot days standing in the sun.
If you get stuck on this pattern don’t hesitate to leave a comment at the end of this post and I will get back to you asap! As always you can always contact me via Instagram or email as well.

Pattern Notes
This body of this top is worked in one piece. The back laces up which makes the sizing a bit more flexible (aka perfect tops to make for loved ones so they can lace up the back as tightly or loosely as they need and it will still fit!).
If you want the top to feel more supportive (and have a tighter fit overall) I suggest sizing down. There is a sizing video further down in this post to help answer any questions you may have.
The straps and lace up back are the last things added. I always try my top on after completing one strap to make sure the fit is comfortable for me. You can always add or deduct rows to increase or decrease the strap length.

Stitches Used
I will be using abbreviations (beginners check out my printable abbreviation cheat sheet) in this written pattern so here is a list of the names/abbreviations and brief directions for each:
Stitch (ST) – Next chain or stitch you are going to work into
Chain (CH) – After having an slip knot on your hook,
YO and pull through your slip knot. That is a chain 1. YO again and
pull through loop on hook. That is your chain 2, and so forth.
Slip Stitch (SS) – Insert hook into next
chain/stitch and yarn over. Pull through chain/stitch and continue to
pull through the loop on your hook.
Single Crochet (SC) – Insert hook into next chain/stitch and YO then pull through the chain/stitch. YO and pull through both loops on hook.
Single Crochet Back Loop Only (SCblo) – Insert hook into only the back loop of the next stitch and YO then pull through the stitch. YO and pull through both loops on hook.
Half Double Crochet (HDC) – YO and insert hook into next chain/stitch and pull up a loop. YO and pull through all loops on hook.
Sasha Bralette Pattern Sizing
I am basing this sizing off of the Woman’s Standard Sizing Chart from the Yarn Council. CLICK HERE to see the break down of the sizes. The picture below shows the height of the top for each size to better help you pick which size is best for you.

Please watch the sizing video below before starting the pattern. It may help you better decide which size to choose, and give further instruction on how to edit the pattern to fit anyone of any size!

Be Like Sasha
I worked with a girl who changed her name to Sasha and I always thought that was so cool. She literally changed her name in high school one day. Just told everyone to refer to her as Sasha from that point forward everyone did.
So be like Sasha. Be your truest self. Don’t like your job? Change it. Don’t like your partner? Change it. Don’t like your name? Be Sasha. I’m here for it. Thanks for following along y’all. Please let me know if you have any questions about this crochet bralette pattern or any other crochet things! XOXO Tay
I love this pattern and am very excited to try it!
But I think it would be helpful (hopefully not just me but for everyone) to have pictures of the back. I assumed it was solid back when I first started looking at the pattern and I went through the whole thing looking for pictures of the back after you said it was lace up so that I could decode if it was something that would work for me. (I’m Kinda of weary of wearing anything without a bra lol) I ended up having to go through the video to see the back. So yeah that’s just my two cents.
All that said I do love the top and I always love tour patterns, your yarn substitute section is so awesome, you’re actually the only crocheter who makes patterns that I’ve ever actually seen do that. I’m pretty new to Instagram but if you have a hashtag I would love to post pictures of my top hot off the hook 🙂
I will absolutely add a photo of the back of the project to the post! I make a lot of my tops tie backs/lace up backs because it gives a lot more ease on the sizing if someone’s gauge is a little off, the top will hopefully still fit. I totally get the not wanting the bra to show through the back though!
I am so happy you like the yarn substitutes section! It’s something I have been adding to my patterns lately since I get a lot of questions on yarns that can be used if someone doesn’t have access to the same yarn I used! If you use the hashtag #Taylorlynncrochet and tag me @taylorlynncrochet I will for sure not miss it when you post pics of it! <3
Hobby Lobby “I Love this Cotton” is a really good yarn to use as well!
